Beach Pit BBQ recently signed a five-year deal with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim to remain at Angel Stadium and expand from two locations to five. The agreement places Beach Pit BBQ among the widest-ranging culinary vendors at the venue.

Three new stands will be added for the Angels home opener against the Oakland A's on April 6, in addition to the returning locations at the Budweiser Patio at the right-field pavilion and on the Field Level near first base. The new stands are found behind home plate on the View Level; an outdoor stand in left field behind the rock pile; and just inside the third-base gate. The final stand will serve spare ribs and quartered chicken, as well as baked beans and blueberry cornbread.

“This will give us a presence on every level of the ballpark except the Club Level and make it easier for Angels fans in every area of the park to enjoy,” says Tim DeCinces, managing member of Beach Pit BBQ and the son of former American League All-Star third baseman Doug DeCinces.

Beach Pit BBQ will continue to serve its famous sandwiches stuffed with pulled pork or brisket; the restaurant's sweet potato and french fries will be available at every stand. Beach Pit BBQ fare will also be available in the luxury suites.
