Next month, The St Regis will be the venue for a farm-to-table French dinner by Executive Chef Castan of Motif Restaurant. Chef Castan will create a five delectable courses using only the freshest, locally sourced ingredients.
Celebrate the French Fall Harvest, where each year the grape growers in Beaujolais France honor the end of the harvest by making a wine for celebration! According to the legend of Beaujolais Nouveau, the wine itself contains the spirit and energy of the year’s grapes, fermented only for a short time before being bottled for immediate celebration.
The evening’s soiree will begin on the Sunset Terrace of Motif with fresh farmer’s market bruschetta, an oyster station, and artisanal cheese tasting. Then, the unveiling of this year’s Beaujolais Nouveauwill take place, followed by Chef Castan’s five-course menu inspired by French wines and Lyon, the gourmet city of France. Dishes included are Classic Beef Bourguignon and Roasted Organic Breast of Guinea Hen’s and ‘Boudin Blanc’ Mushroom Ragout.
