Barbecue veteran, Blake’s Place Café and Catering, recently opened a second location in the city of Los Alamitos.

Serving Orange County since 1996, Blake’s Place Café and Catering is leading business of barbecue restaurants and catering business. Their Anaheim Café seats 40 inside and 54 outside in our covered patio.

Committed to giving the highest quality food and friendly service, Blake’s Place specializes in slow-smoked beef brisket, baby back and pork spare ribs, chicken, turkey, pork and salmon that are slow-smoked to perfection. They also offer salads, deli sandwiches, soups and home-made desserts in its menu.

The new location continues to offer THE BEAST challenge, a popular super-sized sandwich-eating contest started three years ago by the owners of the company.

“After 16 successful years in Anaheim serving ‘Real Barbecue at its Best’ in our café and on catered events, it was time to expand into another market. With the Addition of Mike Rhodes, owner and partner, we chose Lo Slamitos as it offers the perfect mix of residential communities and commercial businesses for a opportunity for another successful location. We are very pleased the community has embraced our offerings since opeing just a short time ago.” Said Gene Hobel, owner.

Located at 11105 Los Alamitos Blvd., the restaurant is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. In addition to inside seating for 49 people, the new location seats 20 extra bodies in its shaded outdoor area. Pulled Pork Pile: Slow smoked pork, hand pulled and served on a big bun with BBQ Sauce, cole slaw, pickles & red onion.
Tasha’s BBQ Trio: Real BBQ sandwich sampler, pulled por, chopped beef brisket & pulled chicken each served on a half French roll with Blake’s BBQ sauce and a side of cole slaw.
Beef Brisket Sandwich: Sliced or chopped brisket, BBQ Sauce, red onion and pickles on a French roll.
Southwestern Chicken Salad: Smoked chicken breast, black beans, fresh lettuce, tomato, cilantro, corn avocado & crisp tortilla strips. Best enjoyed with Blake’s BBQ Ranch Dressing.
Blake’s Big Rib Plate: Baby Back Ribs, Pork Spare Ribs, Beef Rib, Blake’s BBQ beans, crispy cole slaw, French fries and garlic bread.
Smoked Meat and Rib Plates: Choice of one, two or three meats including beef brisket, BBQ chicken, chicken breast, pulled chicken, turkey, pork loin, pulled pork and sausage, and pork, baby back or beef ribs. BBQ Plates served with BBQ beans, cole slaw and garlic bread.
Blake’s Smoked Wings: Four different flavors include: BBQ, spicy BBQ, spicy and apricot chili. Served with ranch or blue cheese dressing on the side.
THE BEAST: Slow smoked pulled pork, pulled BBQ chicken, chopped beef brisket, cole slaw, pickle, sliced red onion and Blake’s BBQ sauce. Serve on an enormously oversized fresh bakes bun.
Home-made desserts: Apple or peach cobbler, Sandy’s bread pudding, fresh baked cookies and banana pudding.
