BBQ Fans Unite! The 5th Annual OC BBQ and Music Festival is taking place this weekend, June 9th and 10th at the OC Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa. If eating good food and listening to good music is your type of thing, this is the one event you won’t want to miss.
Event highlights this year include a large outdoor cooking competition with over 70 teams (and the opportunity to taste their delicious food!), a kid fun zone, the Mr. BBQ
Pageant, a car show, and a rib eating competition.
In addition to all the finger lickin’ fun, there will be great entertainment all weekend long as well. Sugar Ray takes the stage on Saturday night, and American Idol finalists from past seasons will perform on Sunday afternoon.
The event costs $15 for adults ($25 for a weekend pass) and $10 for kids. All proceeds will benefit Kristie’s Foundation, which is a non-profit organization that provides assistance for critically ill children and their families.
