Corona del Mar's Five Crowns gears up for Beatrice Potter Tea

Restaurant offers classic English tea menu June 13.

Five Crowns in Corona del Mar is setting the stage for its Beatrice Potter-themed Tea June 13.

The family affair will feature a classic English tea menu in the eatery's garden. Tea selections range from traditional Kenilworth Ceylon and Sapphire Early Grey to new flavor blends such as Citrus Chamomile.

The fare will include a menu of baked goods, such as muffins and currant scones, along with fruit, imported cheeses and tea sandwiches, ranging from Cucumber Watercress on Swedish Limpa to Smoked Salmon Mousse served on brioche. The eatery will also offer champagne for adults, and children will receive a classic tale from Beatrice Potter.
