The Christmas caroling tradition continues at Five Crowns, a Victorian-themed member of the Lawry’s family of fine-dining restaurants. The costumed Handbell Carolers of “Mixed Company” are celebrating 29 years of holiday themed performances at the popular Corona del Mar restaurant. The Handbell Carolers begin spreading the holiday cheer with their dinnertime performances from Dec. 1 through Dec. 30.
An Orange County native, Randy Pryor, is the founder of the Handbell Carolers and started his company with a single quartet. That one group has expanded over the years, and there are now six costumed groups who perform at Five Crowns, Disneyland and Knott’s Berry Farm. “People don’t realize how much a song can mean to someone,” Pryor says. The inspirational groups are delighted to take requests, and are devoted to making sure Christmas is truly the most wonderful time of the year.
The Five Crowns’ greenhouse patio and extravagant English garden offers customers with the perfect setting for outdoor dining and festive events. The award-winning restaurant is located at 3801 East Coast Highway, Corona del Mar and welcomes all members of the community to come enjoy their renovated interior and celebrate the holiday season.
