For decades, Antonello Ristorante has been the place where Orange
County’s movers and shakers hold their power lunches. But this month,
it’s a place where power brokers, wine enthusiasts and foodies alike
can enjoy two evenings of wine tasting.
Sommelier Steve Ebol
will hold two special events this month – the first on Thursday, from
5:30 to 7:30 p.m.; the second (a five course wine dinner) on Jan. 27,
from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.
This week’s event will feature three wine stations that will pour selections from Antinori, Banfi and Ruffino.
“The
event as a whole will give our guests the chance to learn more about
one of Italy’s premier wine regions, Tuscany,” says Ebol. “Tuscany is
far more than just Pinot Grigio and Chianti.”
The “primero”
event, however, will be the five-course wine dinner later this month.
Special guest Mark Pighini of the Far Niente family of wineries will
enlighten guests about three estates – Far Niente, Nickel & Nickel
and Dolce.
