Now you can do just that at Simply Fondue, which has launched its Spring Wine Tasting Al Fresco.
 
For just $1 per selection, diners can enjoy a variety of top-notch wines outside on the front patio in a casual atmosphere. The promotion is offered on Saturdays and Sundays.
 
As an alternative, guests are encouraged to bring their favorite bottle to receive free corkage or a complimentary appetizer with a purchase of $20 or more.
 
Come for the wine and stay for the fondue. The eatery has an impressive array of cheese sauces with names like Blue Tomato and Stinking Rose. Things get exotic when selecting what to dip: Guests can choose from alligator, buffalo, calamari, ostrich, wild boar filet mignon and more.
 
Fondue combination plates are designed for two guests to share, with choices such as Wild Thing, Surf & Turf and Le Lux.
 
Wine tastings are every Saturday and Sunday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Simply Fondue is located at 31761 Camino Capistrano.
