Taste of Orange County comes to Irvine in June

The Taste of Orange County is Orange County’s premier food festival featuring some of OC’s top chefs, live music and a lot of good eats. This year the event takes place at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater Saturday and Sunday, June 16-17. The festival also helps to support the OC Food Bank.

General Admission to the Taste of Orange County includes the ability to purchase food credits to sample dishes from some of OC’s best restaurants (and sample some beverages too!), chef demos, special entertainment and wine/beer/tequila tastings throughout the day. General admission to the event is $20 (not including food credits).

If you are looking for something a little more special at the Taste of Orange County, check out these special events that will also be occurring over the weekend:

*Saturday, June 16^th: Adults 21 and over Only

Master Sommelier Wine and Tequila Tasting: For $49 per session, enjoy live food and wine pairing demos, complementary food and wine pairings to enjoy and meet and greets with various winemakers. Sessions occur all afternoon.

Farm to Table: Enjoy a special 5 course Farm to Table Dinner on the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater stage that will feature dishes from OC’s favorite chefs. Up to 200 guests will be able to enjoy this unique experience. The dinner starts at 6pm and is limited to ages 21 and up. Cost is $200 a person.

OC VIP Party: From 7-10pm enjoy a VIP party that includes wine tasting, complementary appetizers, a silent auction and much more! Cost is $49 per person.

*Sunday, June 17^th: Open to All Ages

Carne Palooza: Celebrate dad with a Father’s Day feast fit for a king. For $80, enjoy a special BBQ feast on the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater stage from 12-8pm.
