It’s that time of year again — weather is fluctuating between hot and cold and that’s when I am most susceptible to getting sick. When I feel that “rundown/achey/sniffle feeling” – I drink tons of herbal tea and I’ll zip to the closest Chinese Restaurant and order Won Ton Soup to go. It’s amazing how many times I’ve been able to ward off getting sick by this simple remedy.
This won ton soup from Mandarin King fit my bill: soothing hot broth; slices of chicken, shrimp, and veggies including water chestnuts, mushrooms, snap peas and zucchini. I love the big won tons (stuffed with pork). So flavorful!
