With the cold winter months ahead, Z’Tejas Southwestern Grill has announced a new menu focused on warm hearty meals and holiday-themed cocktails. From December 4- March 3, the Costa Mesa restaurant will offer new lunch, dinner, dessert and drink options.
New lunch entrees, $10.95- 13.95, will include blackened turkey relleno stuffed with andouille sausage, blackened turkey breast and chile cornbread; sweet habanero braised pork enchiladas topped with orange cranberry sauce; meatloaf sandwich garnished with ancho onion gravy; and Mandarin turkey salad with honey and lime balsamic vinaigrette.
The new dinner items, $13.95- 23.95, will include flat iron half chicken served with herb butter roasted beets; Southwestern seafood skillet featuring lobster, scallops, shrimp and crab meat topped with bacon gratin and chipotle puree; Southwestern meatloaf made with a beef and pork blend; and pork osso buco atop a bed of roasted spaghetti squash. For dessert, the restaurant will offer warm pumpkin bread pudding baked with chopped walnuts, dried cranberries and served with a butter rum sauce for $6.95.
Holiday cocktails, each $8.95, will include Apple Milagro Spicer made with Grand Marnier, tequila and apple cider, served with orange and apple slices and a cinnamon stick; Muddy Winter made with tequila, crème de cocoa white, Frangelico and half and half served in a chocolate swirl glass; and the Red ‘Rita featuring tequila, pomegranate and lime juices, triple sec, grenadine and finished with mint and a candy cane.
Z’Tejas is located on the east side of South Coast Plaza at 3333 S. Bristol Street in Costa Mesa.
